Location: Downtown East Costa Sands Resort (Same as last year)
Date: 2 June 2010, Wednesday
No. of days and nights: 3 Days, 2 Nights
Each person's contribution: $12 or more

Chalet Rate: $250

** You may prepare food at home to bring it there.
However, please inform us that you're going to do so, so that we can buy less food!
Contribution from each of you may not cost as high then (:

** Those who are staying over, do let us know too!

It has been long since I've posted here but in case you all don't know, there's History homework that was announced via Studywiz.

"INSTRUCTIONS:

Create a pamphlet with the intention to educate your friends of other religions about the major religions in Singapore(cover at least three!). You are to cover the origins of the religions and its main tenets/beliefs/principles. Make sure that your pamphlet is not very wordy and has not too many pictures. Content has to be succinct. Please refer to your textbook Chapter 6 and alternative learning materials. Extra efforts will definitely be rewarded! There will be a show and tell of your pamplets once the school holidays are over.

This will be the front of the class tee.

This will be the back of the tee of course.
But it is black background. Yellow ( abit shiny) words.
The background is just a rough draw, it won't appear slant in the tee. Cause i drew slant. :x
Then above the crossword is your name. Like this will cost about $17.50.
I think it's worth cause the yellow color words which are abit shiny, should be more expensive. The uncle give us the normal price and the name above the crossword puzzle the uncle didn't count too. So, can? :)

Today i went to visit the class tee shop.
& i asked the uncle how much..

But I've already minimise the size of almost all, so maybe it'll be cheaper than $17.50. And I'll try to bargain with the uncle as there are quite a amount of pupils in our class have financial assistance. So, comment at the tag board which one you prefer yeah! :D

T: class, today I am going to tell you a story about a patriotic Italian boy.

Scene2 (on the deck)

T: a ship from Barcelona, Brazil was heading towards Italy. An eleven-year-old boy on the ship was catching a lot of attention. He was scarred and his clothes were torn and tattered. He was shivering from cold and hunger. His body was full of bruises and injuries. He was obviously tortured. Meanwhile, three French men were discussing about him.

1: hey look at the pathetic boy!

2: he seems famished...

3: maybe we should go check him out

1, 2: alright

T: three of them hurried over to the boy’s side and questioned him

1: hey boy, how old are you??

2: why are you alone??

3: where are your parents??

T: the moment the boy heard these, he burst into tears. The French men were worried. They

B: my parents had died. I joined the circus after their death, hoping to have bright future… but I was wrong…

I was tortured and I was forced to do a lot of work. I was not fed probably... (Sobs) I sought help from someone and bought a ticket to return to my aunt in Italy…

T: after every passenger on board have gave him the money, he crept back to his bunk.

T: meanwhile, the French men were sitting not far apart drinking. They were chatting about counties that they had been to over the trip. Criticizing country after country. When they talked about Italy, the words they used were more severe. When the boy heard his country being mentioned, he sharpened his ears involuntarily.

1: you have to be very careful because the people there are terrible they are all liars and robbers!

2: that’s right... There not a single soul out there who IS good... What a pathetic country!

3: I would rather go to South Pole than Italy!! I also heard that the governments there don’t even know how to write or read!!

2: yes yes!! What a tacky country… the residents there are useless and they are all pathe…

T: without finishing the sentence, coins flew towards them like heavy raining.

B: take back your words! Don’t you dare disgrace my country like that! I don’t need your empathy.

T: although the boy was ferocious, but the passengers were worst. The coins marked one their skin. They stood up immediately and wanted to teach the rude boy a lesson. They were drunk and they don’t realize what are they doing.

3: apologize now! You silly little bastard who thinks greatly of your poor and Pathetic country

2: neither your country nor you are anything. Absolutely waste of space!

T: upon hearing all this, the Italian boy exploded in anger and kicked one of the passengers by the stomach.

Punching and kicking landed the boy almost simultaneously. The boy did not even flinch a bit even though the pain was unbearable. The boy thought of his country, he wanted to show them the dignity being an Italian.

B: take back your words about my country now!

T: he stifled his scream when one of the punches landed on his face. He fell to the floor saying something

B: do not humiliate my country!

T: he died protecting the fame of his country.

Scene 4(back to the classroom)

T: that’s the end of the story. Patriotic Italian boy die asking the French to take back their work... What about you guys?? I am not asking you guys to be like him.. But you must at least sing your national anthem and take the pledge loud and clear... is that so difficult to do?? Just think about it... an eleven year’s old boy can do it... so can you...?
